UCL East, Marshgate - London

University College London's largest single building opened in autumn 2023. It provides eight floors of spaces for teaching, research and collaboration in fields as diverse as creative industries and robotics. A central atrium connects all the building’s activities, and highly visible circulation routes including stairs and escalators creating opportunities for connection, interaction and collaboration. The butt-jointed fire-resistant glazed partitions within the atrium play a vital role in maintaining the fire protection of the atrium whilst ensuring that all areas remain filled with natural daylight. UCL East, Marshgate is rated BREEAM Excellent. Pyrobel glass has environmental certification including Cradle-to-Cradle Silver and an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
