The Peace Palace (Vredespaleis), a neo-Renaissance building in The Hague (Netherlands), is home to the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration and The Hague Academy of International Law and its library. An extension was required, and the academy and library were completely rebuilt in a new wing connected to their former home by a walkway. The library's new reading room is surrounded by Pyrobel glass.
