AGC Pyrobel: The new generation of glazing combining fire protection, bullet resistance, and anti-burglary

AGC Glass Europe is expanding its Pyrobel fire-resistant glass range, offering  multifunctional solutions that provide 3-in-1 protection. Following successful tests by the prestigious ift Rosenheim institute, these solutions now combine fire protection, bullet resistance, and maximum protection against burglary.

Two flagship products illustrate this development:
•    Pyrobel 16 BR4NS: Offers fire protection class EI 30, bullet resistance BR4-NS (no spal), and the highest anti-burglary protection class, P8B.
•    Pyrobel 42 BR4NS: Provides superior fire protection class EI 90, while guaranteeing the same levels of bullet-proof (BR4-NS) and anti-burglary (P8B) performance.

This unique combination of properties makes Pyrobel the ideal solution not only for high-security buildings (banks, embassies) but also for a wide range of applications such as retail stores, museums, or schools, where protecting people and property is paramount.
In addition to their robustness, these glass types maintain exceptional optical quality and durability, with excellent light transmission and UV resistance proven to be well beyond standard requirements.
